About Me

My photo
Goth Doll
My name is Jo Hards, artist and founder of Strange Little Girls. I grew up in Yorkshire and much of my inspiration comes from my experience of the Leeds goth and alternative scene in the 1980′s. Initially, I started making gothic dolls for friends and family as a hobby, using vegan friendly materials and a little imagination. Then friends of friends started to ask where they could get them and the website was born. Strange Little Girls products have been sold worldwide and my gothic dolls have been shipped as far as Australia, but they are still lovingly handcrafted, making each one as special as the very first doll.
